VMC MINUTES  

The members were informed about the various steps being taken by the Vidyalaya for academic excellence in CBSE 2009 Exams

•  Remedial classes for below average students of X & XII were started in July 08.

•  PTMs were arranged after half yearly, I Pre-Board & II Pre-Board Exams.

•  Courses were completed by Nov.08.

•  Since then revision was being held with frequent test.

•  Remedial classes have started once again with a new zeal from 15 th Jan after going through the performance of the students in II Pre-Board Exam.

The attention of the members was drawn towards the M & R works which has already been done and some work which is in process.

They were told that :-

•  II Computer lab is ready and the Process of purchasing the computer is in progress.

•  The floor of the chemistry lab was damaged due to the seapage problem and the same has been repaired with kota stone along with the plumbing work and gas connection.

•  As suggested in the last meeting, repair of the boundary wall with Madrasi Dana (washed stone grit plaster) is in process.

•  The repair of classrooms varandas & chajjas which was being done by CPWD is complete and white washing has also been done.

•  Aluminium cabin work with sliding door for junior lab has been completed.

•  Primary resource room is in progress.

•  Roof treatment (major repair) of the entire School Building was suggested in the interest of safety of the Vidyalaya and a letter has been also written to CPWD for survey & estimation for the same.

It was suggested that more, play equipments for the primary children should be purchased.
